I love the sound of this record. A great vocalist and strong melodies. The Runaways and The Mexican are my favourites, the rest isn't so good. Are their following albums worth it, and if not, what bands sound like this?
you think the crossposting sub midwit teenagers that populate this board now are gonna even know about this album? unironically go to rym, people at least actually know about music there
>>128892157I am a retarded teenager too. I'd write a better thread if I weren't retarded. Just wanted some recs because a few tracks off this were awesome. Thanks for the bump anyway.
the Mexican is a really famous hip hop track, it's on the Ultimate Breaks and Beats compilation for example. here's GZA and Tom Morello covering it:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=naZ8-Kmendkalso, Jellybean did a synth-driven cover of it in the 80s but the album it's on is most famous because Madonna is on one of the other songs before she got famous
come to think of it, there is a song called Runaway on the UB&Bs that sounds like them, it probably is.
>>128892281Roger Dean drew the cover art he did a bunch of Yes album covers and a lot of this sort of 70s rock. You might wanna check out anything he did artwork for. https://www.discogs.com/lists/Roger-Dean-Album-Art/310809https://talking-time.net/index.php?threads/lets-listen-to-every-album-with-roger-dean-cover-art-in-chronological-order.1078/
