Yeah one of my record stores rapidly declined post 2010, so my main source of records was just gigs themselves.
Been this way for most of my life though. Spotify is the first time in my life I've seen actual money in the industry calling the shots for what bands make and it's already making garbage. Records have been dead my whole life it seems. But that meant gusic was made without a care for record sales for a long time until recently.
