I love how this was recorded. It sounds full and organic and not artificial like most other post-punk albums from that time
>>128926319I used to prefer Juju to this back when I was a teenager. Glad I came to the light as time went on. Stuff like Desert Kisses or Christine is just so singular, odd, and intimate. I really wonder how punk kids were reacting to it when it initially came out, since it's a lot less about the crowd and energy of punk than the previous two albums. Severin and Budgie, absolute geniuses.With that being said, Tinderbox will probably always be my favorite Banshees album. It's just flawless.
