>>128952791Oldfag here, ages ago and yeah it was great.It was a goth club most days but it also hosted metal shows and indie rock nights.It had two floor so you had your choice of goth rock & metal on one floor and industrial & more dancey goth music like dark wave and so on on the second floor.They had looked like refurbished antique furniture instead of the typical seating you'd find at normie clubs.I went there a bunch of times, one time brought one friend there who wasn't really goth at all he was just like a classic fantasy nerd with a neckbeard and glasses, he wasn't even really all that into the concept of music as a whole he was into a couple of albums from some boomer rock and a couple of nu-metal albums.I was decently fucked up that night and lost sight of him after a goblina sat on my lap and made out with me, and to my surprise I found him upstairs doing the goth dance same as everyone having a great time.That one was a comfy cozy hole in the wall sirt if club, and the street it was on was one club after the next so by closing time we'd be walking out having a great time and see all these angry normies having fist fights all up and down the street and in the middle of the road etc.There's one nightclub/concert venue that's just sort a catch all punk/metal/goth/sometimes otaku/whatever alternative club that's been around for 4 decades and is still going strong.There's a small-mid sized concert venue on the third floor, NOFX would play there every year, they're not goth obviously and they've played bigger venues and even bigger festivals but it's just that much of a fun club.There's a whole backyard/outdoor terrace, there's multiple floors including a basement, sometimes I'd be there with whoever and someone else would come along and they'd casually tell us that so-and-so 80s punk band that we were into were staring a show.Otherwise a lot of the smaller clubs had shut down, long before covid in some cases.
