Their debut was the first album I ever bought.Was never a huge fan beyond that.
It's uncslop. lol. I'm kidding, but it IS funny to say that. Their first album is their best album. I'm very serious about how amazing that ST is. I am OLD enough to know. I was 13 when ST came out, and I bought it on day one. DD gets all the attention because St was not as accessible to normies beyond Clint Eastwood and maybe 19-2000, but if you asked the average person about them when I was bumping that shit at 13, they'd be like, "Why does he just make weird noises on the other songs?" Anyone who says Demon Dayz is exposing themselves as a normoid scumbag. YOU'RE LAME. YOU'RE SLOW. YOU'RE BEHIND. GET THE FUCK WITH IT. YOU AREN'T COOL. K. BYE.
Pre-hiatus in general is very good, The Fall aside. That one can easily be set aside though as it was basically a travel diary doubling as an "album" composed on an iPad. Post-hiatus, The Now Now is basically a better Fall and they actually tried on Song Machine, but otherwise it's been very forgettable.
Peaked at Demon Days, everything after is collabgarbage just to gain publicity/industry exposure

I don't know why people dislike Song Machine. That one's almost as good as the pre-hiatus stuff.

"Dare" being a minor hit was fun too.Plastic Beach followed logically but failed to produce a hit and it was the first time they started to feel not simply uncool, but corny. It also marks the beginning of Damon's "I've forgotten how to write hooks" era. I sort of enjoyed Humanz but it had no staying power and since then I haven't really thought about the project at all.
