When I get a modern synth as a first HW device, will my DAW automatically know things about it if connected with USB, or will it be just like with old fashioned MIDI where I have to set the right channel etc etc..?
What's a convenient software to take audio samples from videos? I'm doing it with avidemux now but it's not suitable to cut it precisely right away.
