what's his best work?
Getting Killed.
>>128952990Is it appropriate as a grown man to be worried about another man's "best work"? Because at that point you might as well be vicariously taking credit for something you didn't do. Grim

>>128954055Reasonable rankingsI think the "goth era" of From Her to Eternity-Tender Prey is extremely good, tons of memorable powerful songs ranging from sick dark shit to really beautiful somber ballads, his "easy listening/rock" period of Good Son-Dig Lazarus Dig era is also very good but maybe not as good as the goth era even if it has some huge highlights, and the Warren Ellis electronic era of Push the Sky Away-Carnage is completely fantastic, really deep songs with possibly Nick's best being Girl In Amber, Spinning Song, and Hollywood. I think with Wild God we appear to be entering another rock era which doesn't massively disappoint me but personally I feel like the electronic/"post rock" of the last 8 years has been a huge highlight in Cave's career I wouldn't have minded several more of those, but rocking out is cool too.
