Oasis listeners need to know
>>128973879Replace Blur with Suede
>>128973879look i don't like oasis either but to think they weren't the clear frontrunners of the 90s britpop scene is pathetic 4chan contrarianism
>>128973950>pathetic 4chan contrarianismand what would we do without it *le sigh*
replace blur, suede, and oasis with Supergrass, Kula Shaker, and Keane
>>128973977get laid and be employed
Your the top bans for the kinda poncepoof who tux his YOONIGLO shirt half in and says "Im a mademanr" thats why Dame n Jarv stopped the world exactly none cunt rastas world you"r jyst livinin in itAs You Were LG x
>>128973879By what metric is this true? Definitely not in sales or cultural impact. An argument could be made those other two bands made better music but ultimately when you're on a night out in the UK near enough every bar you walk past will be playing Wonderwall or DLBIA. Blur and Pulp don't really get a look in.

>>128974919Uncool post, hayseed
>>128973904Nobody cares about Suede.
>>128974069every single football game you go to will ever visit will play Song 2
>>128973879Morning Glory is the 2nd best selling studio album of all-time in the UK. Blur and Suede don't occupy the first spot.
>>128973879Britpop was a massive nothingburgerOasis and Blur had one hit each ( wonderwall + the woo hoo song) before vanishing up their own assholesPulp and Suede were never relevant
>>128976912Oasis had a sold-out stadium tour in America. That's pretty impressive if all those people just wanted to hear one song.
>>128975904American Football? Nigga that's not a real sport only amerisharts watch that shit. Blur played Coachella a couple years ago and no one knew any of their songs. Oasis just did a sold out world tour
>>128973879>UM ACKSHUALLEY TODAY IS GONNA BE THE DAY THAT THEY'RE GONNA THROW IT BACK TO YOU
>>128973879Oasis??? Fucking Oasis? They were totally obscure in America. Are you joking? Like I can’t believe it. I can't believe Brits are this persistent in their delusions about Oasis. Oasis was never popular in America. They were always literally whos. In 2025 and in 1996 and always. They had no impact on American culture or media whatsoever, even in the 90s. Nobody knew the band Oasis or the Gallaghers. No tv or movies ever referenced them. No media outlets gave them coverage. None of their music got play except wonderwall (as a joke song). Oasis was a total nonentity in America, totally unknown to 99% of the population and it makes the bongs seethe like nothing else.Name an Oasis song that got radio or MTV play that wasn’t Wonderwall. You literally can’t.Oasis were utterly dwarfed by every metric by every other global band in the Nineties, especially Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins, both of whom outsold Oasis in their home country. They certainly had a one flash-in-the-pan hit in the US, the same way fucking Chumbawamba or OMC did, but they are just not an important, relevant or meaningful band. They were a mediocre pop band of no lasting import.Even in the UK, look at how many contemporary bands use Strats instead of Les Pauls. There is not a single person in the world who picked up a guitar and started a band because of Oasis. There is probably not a single person in the world who can name any member of Oasis. This shit was kind of funny the first thousand times but now having to trot out every single fact over and over again is just getting tedious. Oasis was extremely obscure not just in America, but in every other country not called England.

>>128973879>Pulpliterally who
>>128973879bruh no one outside of the ugay knows who tf blur or suede are
