Probably up there as one of the greatest jack of all trades musician in all of British music history. Impressive range of instrumentation, great vocals, great musicial mind overall, great producing credits with a wide influence (at the time), somehow found a following no matter how niche in every corner of the globe.
Evil Woman might be the perfect example of what makes him great. Clear inspirations in chords but its completely its own thing when Jeff has his hands on it, the arrangements and the clavinet usage and vocals are perfect.
Culturally impactful nowadays than he is musicially nowadays, but that's not really a bad thing, says more about his body of work.
