Any fellow 'heads here?
>>
Easily one of the most overrated bands ever.

Who says they're overrated? They're overhated if anything.
>>
I enjoy a Dead but would not say I'm a head
>>128980125
They used to be overrated, but this is way more true now. People who have never even listened to them act like they're bad.

Everyone who is alive and has a heart in their chests needs to listen to Live/Dead.

Morning Dew is a criminally underrated Dead song. Dark Star somewhat overrated. There are some really good Dark Stars but most of the time I find them to be too noodly.

people who hate them are probably the same that get annoyed when a song lasts more than 4 minutes
>>128980294
try the 10/31/71 version of Dark Star if you haven't already
>>
anybody got tips and records to get into them ? i've only listened to american beauty and i did enjoy it quite a bit. i would love to find out if they have any darker era/album, since that's my thing usually.

Workingman's Dead is from the same songwriting era and generally covers this.
