Why aren't there other bands that do the cinematic/breakbeat thing that mid 2000s Hybrid did?

I don't think it's even hard to make this kind of music. Other bands just... didn't do it.

i'm sure a lot of people heard this album and then experienced frustration after realising this wasn't a genre of music with more to be discovered, it was just the way this one band sounded at this one time and nobody has ever done it again before or since

well, yeah, i *exactly* love action soundtracks like this
hybrid have a done a bunch of cinematic and OST work, but their 2000s tracks are an even more concentrated version of what makes OSTs addictive
