For me, much of the appeal is in the variations in rhythm and timbre despite a very limited palette. The mix may be satisfying, or it's the way one kind of blast beat gives way to another, and sounds faster or more forceful despite playing at more or less the same speed. I also just prefer the sound of people exerting themselves on instruments than the pure distortion and feedback of regular noise/harsh noise music. Try In Advanced Haemorrhaging Conditions if you want a bite-size version of a gorenoise album. The original seven minute version has samples which give the EP not just breathing room, but context to the bursts of blasting and gurgles.
