They were a good band, but at the same time they were around grebo, baggy, and Bristol trip-hop were all happening, and for that alternative dance stuff I honestly always liked Carter USM, Ned's Atomic Dustbin, Happy Mondays, Inspiral Carpets, Tricky, and Massive Attack a lot more than them.

I know they were originally a C86 band, but back then I also think they were inferior to The Wedding Present, Close Lobsters, McCarthy, Shop Assistants, The Pastels, and The Vaselines
