Personally, as someone deep in the Patrician Scene, I've only ever found a small handful of transcodes from any source. I suppose the people listening to the advanced music I'm interested in are far more likely to have quality files because we care about such things, from which we can safely conclude that OP is exclusively listening to Top40 slop and has outed himself as an irredeemable plebeian.
I rename the .mp3 files .flac and padlock the real .flac
