HOLY SHIT
>>129044003Some of their best compositions on this album, but the production manages to have almost no punch compared to the earlier Mirage. I'd much rather listen to A Live Record's live renditions of the tracks on here. They have more soul, too.
>>129044003tis a good album. it sounds and feels like a being in a cabin in the middle of nowhere in winter
>>129044003Anything worth listening from Camel after that album?
>>129045110Nude is pretty good. Some poppy songs at the beginning, but the instrumentals are great.
>>129044003Their best, peak Tolkien core
>>129044003Based.
It does the "each band member gets their own song" concept 100 times better than Fragile, that's for damn sure
The only reason to listen to Camel is if you have insomnia.
>>129044003The first aong literally sounds like a Sega genesis game.. in 1976. And "chord change" is beautiful as hell
>>129044018I always thought it was a more contemplative record than Mirage, so I gave the subdued production a pass, but I'm sure if Steve Wilson got a hold of it songs like Lunar Sea and Another Night would get a lot ballsier.>>129045110Rain Dances is a good album, A Live Record has some great performances too (Never Let Go gets updated to great effect). Breathless has 2 good songs, and that's pretty much where they stop making good music.
