My girlfriend wants to take me to see this guy named Al Jardine and does anyone know what's his deal is? His band is named after the Beach Boys and the poster says that he's going to perform the songs but why would you want a literal who doing a dumb cover band that's probably sounds like shit. Also he looks like a corpse and I don't like it.

I saw Brian Wilson in 2016 and Al Jardine and band did all the heavy lifting. They were really good and I think I would feel better seeing them without Brian, because his touring years could feel so exploitative. Go for it OP.
