Happiness is a Warm Gun is one of their very best songs, and the best on this album by a mile. There’s plenty of garbage on there too. Some of it is good, fun garbage (Wild Honey Pie, Bungalow Bill, Country Ringo, Me and my Monkey, Revolution 9), but some of it is not (O Bla Di, Piggies, Honey Pie, Revolution 1, Good Night)

Unpopular opinion (apparently this is an unpopular opinion even among Beatles fans): The White Album has no filler songs. Every single song adds to the album listening experience, and none of them should have been taken off.
Cant remember the first time I heard the beatles, but when I was like 11 or so my mom pulled out her old best of the beatles record when I was a kid and I heard a bunch of the white album songs that I love now. Then when I was 19 or 20 my buddy put his dad's copy of the white album on while we were on a trip just getting out of bed, I listened to the whole thing and thought it was a masterpiece at the time. Now I think its excellent, but far from perfect
