I want to learn how to harmonize. What should I do? Any tips, lessons or books on that?

pedal consoomers and offset players mostly.
although the guy its based on actually does some decent helpful content on repairing/restoring/upgrading gear iirc

Play the harmony part a diatonic 3rd above or 6th below the melody line. If you want it to sound more angular like the solo from "Owner of a Lonely Heart" use 4ths and 5ths. I'm not a big fan of that sound though. Diatonic 3rds and 6ths sound sweeter, like Iron Maiden and Thin Lizzy..

This is what I do when I teach.

For technical practice and warm up, I'd practice scales with your guitar (or available instrument, keep it monophonic) and voice. Sing intervals to these scales / arpeggios. First unison, octaves, then a diatonic third apart (either above or below), then a sixth, then fifths, then fourths (hardest).

For the real deal, learn actual songs or tunes, learn the actual melodies, if you listen to good harmonizing singers they actually perform distinct lines, not strict intervals apart. With the lyrics and articulation it feels great.

Then find a partner, no matter how good they are, and practice with a real person.
