Marlene Kuntz - H.U.P. Live in Catharsis, World/Inferno - Hallowmas Live at North Six and Tori Amos - Venus, Still Orbiting are three of the best live albums ever recorded. Also Bauhaus - Gotham Live at the Hammerstein Ballroom.
I like old rock live albums. A lot of bands that sound kind of boring on record sound a lot more raw and exciting live.
some people prefer the raw sound of live rock to polished studio sounds
