50 YEARS OF HAKO: Part IIAs you no doubt remember, we already celebrated the 50th anniversary of the release of Hako's first album, Tobimasu, a few months ago (October 1). However, there has been an unforeseen development. On the 24th of December Pony Canyon released Tobimasu (Deluxe Edition), a set of 2 CDs, that consists of:>CD1The original 10 songs "remastered for the first time from the master tapes". If you've ever listened to any previous release, you must've noticed the static background noise present throughout the whole album. This has been largely, although not completely, fixed in this new remaster. It doesn't seem like they broke anything in the process, so I'd say this is now THE way of listening to Tobimasu.>CD22 demos from 1974: Otoko to Onna no Heya (available as a bonus on some newer releases of the same album) and Tobimasu (until now only available on the rare "Tobimasu... 17sai" album we discussed already in the previous thread).8 live songs recorded in 1976 in Shinjuku Loft. As expected, they're low quality. Otherwise, they'd probably be available on a live album already.Official ways of listening to the album:https://lnk.to/tobimasuDXeditionThis includes a Youtube playlist as well, so you can listen completely for free.
Since a whole hakoful of Hako (TL Note: hako means box) has just arrived yesterday from the Land of Rising Hako, you can also get the whole album in flac format here:>https://www.mediafire.com/file/w14niwd2u2qjad1As much as I believe that listening to Hako is a human right, not a privilege, consider using the official means provided in the OP. Or, perhaps, buy the album
But this is just the beginning. Pony Canyon has announced that as we speak (or rather, as I monologue) Hako's second album, Tsunawatari, is getting the same treatment.Tsunawatari (Deluxe Edition) is set to be released on the 18th on February and will also consist of 2 CDs: one with the remastered original songs, the other with 2 demos and 7 remaining songs from the same concert. Now the obvious question is: will the third album, Aiiro no Uta get its Deluxe Edition as well?
>>129080984>Or, perhaps, buy the album...if possible. I hit the "post" button too quick.
Basedschizo
non hako music recs (not only japanese)? >>129081286not him, elaborate?
>>129081286There are people on /mu/ who have been posting pictures of Korean idols 24/7 for 20 years, and I'm the schizo.>>129081354No idea, I only listen to metal aside from Hako. Of course, I did check a lot of other similar artists according to both fans and algorithms, but found nothing. Not saying they're not good enough or anything, just not similar at all.
>>129081354check out this compilation
>>129081607Correct, but you’re based
>>129081856Rokudenashi by Furuido is pretty good. I knew them already from Akagi, where Nantoka Nare was used as the opening song. I think they're even from the same album.
>>129081354>not him, elaborate? He posts on /sp/ too and he is based, but he is a legit textbook autist. Some people with autism get really into trains or baseball history, but our Polish friend here is a one-man army of Hako Yamasaki superfandom.Post your Spotify (or whatever it was) statistics again, Polebro!
>>129083840Ah, that 2025 summary thing from last.fm, forgot I made a webm.Together with Tobimasu Deluxe and some other albums, I also got a small photo book yesterday. More like a photo booklet really, since it has only 8 pages, but apparently it's pretty rare. This was the first time I've seen it, and I've been monitoring auctions for rare Hakos everyday for a few years.Anyway, the point is I'm going to scan and post it in a moment.
Alright, done. They're black and white, of course. More or less. Sometimes more yellow and brown due to ageing. Some pages have more than one picture, so I divided them into smaller images.
I've seen this one somewhere already but in lower quality.
"I'm just singing.Please, let me sing……Hako"
And the last one.
Wholesome
I'm trying to make a wallpaper for my phone. Right now this the best I managed.
>>129080946Is she better than ichiko aoba
Hey.. this girl's pretty good!
>>129087850That probably depends on how you compare.
Doesn't look bad, but maybe I should ask professionals from /wg/ to make one for me.
Thanks
>>129093262No problem. I'll be back with Tsunawatari Deluxe Edition around the first week of March, too.
she vs jun togawa. who wins?
>>129080946post some music then
>>129099304He did you dumb youtube clicker
>>129099304There's a link in the OP that has links to Spotify, Youtube and some others. In the first post there's also a download link.
>>129087850>>129099279Are you guys retarded? Neither of these artists have anything in common with her aside from being girls from Japan.
>>129099279I don't know what this Jun lady looks like, but considering Hako's build (154cm, ~30kg; bottom left in the picture), it's safe to assume that she would lose.Unless weapons were allowed. I reckon Hako would be pretty good with a bow, since bows are fundamentally just one-string guitars.
>>129101071you can compare different thing. eg in utero vs the meadowlands. i prefer the later
>>129084910I cleaned this pic a bit. There were some spots that clearly weren't a part of the original picture.
>>129085043Ah, forgot to post this one after cleaning it too.
>>129081046>will the third album, Aiiro no Uta get its Deluxe Edition as well?Ningen Magai
>>129080946>all those walls of text>nobody has posted her music yet
