Why did HEALTH go from a cool sounding band to a lame industrial rock band since 2015

This one is supposed to be an auxiliary/companion to Rat Wars.
Though I somewhat agree with OP.
Rat Wars was a departure from the classic (dare I say, unique) HEALTH sound that we know & love.
And closer to a generic Industrial sound.
That said, I've actually come around to Rat Wars after repeated return listens.
Despite the fact that it does seem to continue an apparent downward trajectory starting with Slaves Of Fear.
All keeping in mind that HEALTH s/t, Get Color & Death Magic are GOD TIER albums that anyone who enjoys electronic based noise rock should certainly own or at least listen once, just to say they did.
Great fucking band, present releases aside (only somewhat).

>since 2015
isn't that when the guy left to become Poppy or whatever
I don't really follow them except for uncovering when they ripped off the Level 1 theme to alfred chicken in Die Slow

No, 2015 is right. That's when Health stops making noise.

And started making better music.
