alright, I understand the hate for the epiphone grabber, but the sliding pickup of the original was literally a pointless gimmick just sliding back and forth. you could get more tonal variation just playing closer/further from the bridge without the moving the pickup; the epiphone comes with toggle switch to split coils putting it way above the original, it was supposed to compete with the mustang bass, but it's all I ever wanted out of p-bass.

They were holding classes where you bring your instrument and they teach improv but I missed them cause I was in the gaming area with my friends. I finally got a proper amp. Im currently playing it on my bass since my guitar is at the repair shop. I am thoroughly impressed with the sound, i can hear all the resonant frequencies and harmonics when i play for example a major third. Major third sounds so so good on the amp. I especially like the '65 deluxe preset. Overall the amp sounds very good and i cant wait to try it out on an actual guitar. Ofcourse this new acquisition rejuvenated my will to actually make some music

When I play to backing tracks of songs, it sounds like shit. I just don't know how to tweak my tone so it sounds good. How do you people handle this? I don't want to "mix" that shit. It's just a guitar, bass and drums and vocals. It shouldn't be that difficult, but why does it still sound like shit?
