Should I get this thing? I think it's really stupid and redundant to have a dial for all the modes of the major scale on it but other than that it seems good. I just want to be able to do harmonized leads like Ratt, Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden, Scorpions, Judas Priest, etc.
>>129092816Depends what you want to sound likeRats are great, I have one on my board. Angry Driver is great but a completely different sound and purpose. alright, I understand the hate for the epiphone grabber, but the sliding pickup of the original was literally a pointless gimmick just sliding back and forth. you could get more tonal variation just playing closer/further from the bridge without the moving the pickup; the epiphone comes with toggle switch to split coils putting it way above the original, it was supposed to compete with the mustang bass, but it's all I ever wanted out of p-bass.

Jamming festival went great with my friends. We jammed twice with some random people and I feel like i held my own pretty well. Didn't do anything fancy on bass, we picked a key and went from there. Looking for gear recommendations, these are my goals:- Dawless (I'm trying to spend less time in front of a computer)- 3 devices top (not counting my guitar gear)- Focus on making rock/metal/jazz demos (I play guitar, bass and al little bit of keys)- Ability to create loops (drums, bass, synth) for practicing chord progressions and scales.I want to reserve my computer and daw use exclusively for polishing ideas.

>>129094028Imagine a Stratocaster but the nut is now where the first fret is, that’s essentially a short scale neck. People complain that they’re cramped up around the 12th fret but never complain that a Strat is cramped at the 13th fret.

I am thoroughly impressed with the sound, i can hear all the resonant frequencies and harmonics when i play for example a major third. Major third sounds so so good on the amp. I especially like the '65 deluxe preset. Overall the amp sounds very good and i cant wait to try it out on an actual guitar.
