I find this genre very inconsistent in terms of quality and versatility, if not bands like Impaled Nazarene and Tsatthoggua then I wouldn't explore this genre at all. Otherwise there are terrific lesser know bm bands that sound like nothing else such as Ufych Sormeer, Sprawlcosm, Kekal, Korovakill, Magane. Picrel is probably my favorite album despite being absolutely unknown.
