What's your favorite dungeon synth album?
Lmao most dungeon synth album covers have magical fantasy landscapes but this guy made his a picture of donald duck shooting up heroin.
Prob this one, OP's pick, or Fief II. Is this /dsg/ btw? :D

I only listen to Depressive Silence II and Forgotten Pathways - Shrouded in Mystery. Rest is either too low quality or modern and gay.

Hard to say, but currently I'd pick an Erythrite Throne album. Putting on pic related on a night walk is great.I'm a fan of the atmosphere of Vampiric Dungeon Synth, it's dark, despondent and peaceful at the same time.>Erythrite Throne>Wallachian Cobwebs>Weeping Moon"Standard" DS:>Old Tower>Forlorn KingdomFor a more optimistic and peaceful mood ->Aindulmedir>Aura Merlin>DIM>Torchlight>Quest MasterI'm relatively new to the genre and I explore when I can, and I appreciate all these projects and all their respective albums, which vary in number. Wallachian Cobwebs has two releases, while Erythrite Throne has around 20.

Dungeon Synth was invented by Glenn Danzig in 1992.
bump
I don't care if he's a hack, Middle Ages perfectly captures the sovl of DS.
There's something about the 90s cassette vibe combined with the medieval stuff that makes this kind of music so nostalgic.
Here’s mine, the only ds I’ve found that sounds truly nocturnal along with Mistigo Varggoth Darkestra>>129237931I’d argue jim kirkwood helped pioneer ds too
>>129237931Dungeon Synth was invented by Varg. He was trying to imitate his favourite band, Dead Can Dance
