주체 - Juche, a VA compilation with some OG Power Electronics and Industrial acts like The Grey Wolves, Genocide Organ, and Con-Dom. One of my first interactions with experimental music, I used to love the Militia Track on this one. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xusbDjqFtuY
No-Fi Oi/NeoFolk from ASKE https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tyTeyVJZcnE
Hunting Lodge - Nomad SoulsI remember finding this project on The Beast 666 compilation tape (which is mostly garbage) and thinking Hunting Lodge was probably the best project on the comp, so I decided to check their discography. Their Album "Will" is phenomenal, but Nomad Souls has that tribal, industrial-punk aesthetic, like Mad Max or Fallout. https://youtu.be/4uQQRq_5PyE?si=x4X3ID_dyc54A8sU

Patrick Quinn - Leather Stairwell (Ambient noise wall, field recordings)The sounds of leather bending and rubbing, amplified. I found this shit wandering RYM charts. Sounds like a huge writhing mass of leather. A little disturbing. https://harshnoisewall.bandcamp.com/album/leather-stairwellFirst track "Fifth Floor (Stairwell 2)": https://files.catbox.moe/etcz61.mp3

>>129243124>>129243179I like these. guessing this will be a pretty slow thread so I'll try to remember to drop a few things now and then through the day to keep it alivethis is Wooden Hand and Dave Waller playing haunting and, if you get lost in it, mind bending acoustic drone that never gets harsh or abrasivehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNVtIAuZKe8and this is Wooden Hand collabing with Waller and 3 others on Electric Hand, a plugged in take on similar themeshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NbssZ8-ztE

Ak'chamel, the Giver of Illness blends noisy, lo-fi experimentalism and background drones with cleaner acoustic melodies from north African and Middle Eastern traditions. Alternate names used for various releases are Ak'chamel, The Ecstatic Brotherhood of Anima Mundi, Ak'chamel, The Ibex Entrails String Band and Ak’chamel, the Divinatory Monkey and the Sovereign Plumed Serpent. Good albums are Rawskulled (leans towards noisy lo-fi) and The Totemist and A Mournful Kingdom of Sand (lean toward cleaner recording and melody.) Theres other cassettes, EPs and compilations too. Occult Modem Settings - Something Died in the Wall is something like super-mellow dream pop overlaid with crushing noisehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wXLuITEruM
Terracid, Brothers of the Occult Sisterhood and Alligator Crystal Moth are the solo and collaborative projects of some Aussie guy whos probably done too much drugs. The music shifts between structure and chaos, taking you with it. Suggested albums: Terracid - Transcendent Reign Inheritor, Alltounia; Brothers of the Occult Sisterhood - Statues from Space, Animal Speak; and Alligator Crystal Moth - Spectral Lysergics, Magical Swamp Kingdomhttps://267lattajjaa.bandcamp.com/album/alltouniahttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jba_XxAvRmohttps://thejewelgarden.bandcamp.com/album/spectral-lysergics

>>129252078ya these guys are really good, I started going through their Calendar Customs series just before crimbo v nice
>>129252245Learned of them through the Youtube channel Seekingathread the guy who runs it is this wholesome dad from Ithca, NY who is an absolute music junkie, and a vinyl enthusiast. He is constantly a great source for outsider music for me. Shit that I just simply don't have the brain power to dig through the internet to find, so he's an awesome resource. He maybe has too much of an appetite for landfill psych rock and folk but he's quite good at searching out new age and experimental outsider music.

>>129252078listening this from Folklore Tapes rn, A Web of Braided Willow (The Folklore of the Wickerman), music inspired by the themes of the early 70s cult folk horror film, really nice. plenty of variety because its 11 tracks by 11 different artists, but unified by rural, old fashioned, spooky, sparse and disjointed atmospheres appropriate to the vibe of the film despite containing both bleep and string music and even a brass band https://folkloretapes.bandcamp.com/album/a-web-of-braided-willow-folklore-of-the-wickerman
Starving Weirdos - Land Lines, drones, ambient, sketchy hippy stuff, even one track that could almost pass for psych or space rock if it was a bit more organisedhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkEcWkx0Uqc

The piano has a different tuning than normal ones and he just hits random notes for 6 hours. Its coolhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=up_RtM69unA
Here's something that I stumbled on some years ago and found pretty funny and interesting."Our journey through the wicked world of weird audio tapes continues with the first release of the freshly founded LIMBS-label which is the new "Waschmaschinenfest 2K14" compilation, a C30 cassette based on Field Recordings of - well... - washers. Recorded, contributed and remixed - sic! - by artists like Xotox, Klonk, Low Entropy, Jasmina, Fgnugen, Aehm and Indesit we're introduced to quite a few different types of washers e.g. ones crafted by Bauknecht, Haier, Siwamat etc. and their typical, mechanic sound patterns as well as to dark'ish Drones, haunting athmospheres and cold, scampering experimental Tribe Tekno for underground soundsystems and chemically polluted teknival scapes. Quite interesting for collectors of conceptual releases - and washers." https://raketenbasis-haberlandstrasse.bandcamp.com/album/waschmaschinenfest-2k14

Birchville Cat Motel - Astro Catastrophiesthis is a 2 1/2 hour album over 3 CDs that sometimes sounds like noisy shoegaze, sometimes noisy punk, sometimes noisy ambient, sometimes noisy post rock and sometimes just noise. he's one of those solo experimental artists with a vast, 50+ album discog that Ive only scratched the surface of with half a dozen album listens but everything Ive heard so far has been interestinghttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLQ7IlUmQoU

underrated German weirdo Yvonne Cornelius made several albums under the name Niobe, the first 3 had some genuinely strange experientialism, taking inspiration from noise and industrial music but also with copious nostalgic feelings from old vocal jazz and vintage radio broadcasts. the next 4 releases got a little more conventional but remain consistently interesting. samples below are from her 3rd album, Voodooluba, but Radioersatz and Tse Tse, her debut and 2nd efforts, are just as goodhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JuKnMTnCnQ8https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMEa1ISpU1o
