How old were you when you realized that AOR/album rock, aka melodic rock, is not the same thing as boomer hair metal, but a hidden gem trove with consistent album tracks on par in depth and superior in passion and sophisticated musicianship to even prog, and forming a continuum with city pop and sophisti-pop?
