Sign of the Hammer is probably one of the worst mixed manowar albums. To be fair/blunt, you could say that almost any of Manowar's classic albums need a remix.

This is true and there were issues with instruments not being audible on some songs. BUT It got at least 2 remixes though? There's 2 versions of the iggy mix.

Not as bad as mix as some other albums out there, but i feel like the mix on this album could be a bit better.

Based Subhuman Race enjoyer. That record filters a lot of people. I have the Greatest Hits record for that reason, and the Forever song is pretty good. Sounds a lot more like a leftover from the first record but still a pretty cool song.

Strangely enough, I might have finished listening to that album before their previous 2.

Aside from the mixing, I think the stylistic changes from the previous album(s) are part of the reason it wasn't as popular. Some of the songs don't have as many hummable hooks. I think i've heard it said that it had more of a groove metal and hardcore punk influence than the previous two.
