My hope for the films is that they keep the "greatest hits" lore to a minimum and do something actually dramatic that involves as little of them in the studio making their fab hits as possible. What I picture is something like this>fast run through of them forming with no dialogue >fast cuts of them doing the Cavern Club era >Fast cuts of Beatlemania getting more and more intense until it crescendoes at Shea Stadium and then finally as they arrive in the van we have our first dialogue and it's them saying "no more touring!" >then as if waking up from a dream we land in 1965 when all of the serious drama and drug taking and fissures being to take placeIf they go into the real drama of the bands, the cheating on wives and so on and egos behind the songwriting and the hate/love relationship of being in the Beatles, then the movies could actually be pretty good. If they just do a Hallmark Card version of things where everything is peachy until the very end where there's some in fighting, that would be really corny. I don't want to see them writing Love Me Do and corny shit like that. I also would imagine in John's film they will probably do a really genuine depiction of his love for Yoko to set the record straight that his love for her was real, and that he was growing apart from The Beatles outside of his relationship with her. Unfortunately for the director to have any credibility they will also have to go into detail of how much of a shit husband and father he was to his first family too if they're looking to make a real full image of him as a person....but I fear that might get glossed over.

It's an interesting concept to do four biopics around the same time. You can have the interplay between all the four leads, callbacks to previous scenes in other movies, and really build to a satisfying payoff. Hopefully they take full advantage, rather than 4 puff pieces with occasional cameos.
