You could maybe make the argument that their first album and EP brushed against that concept, but this is idiotic to suggest for anything afterwards. It would be a more reasoned assessment to say that they happened to also produce indie folk music as several popular bands were wearing the genre as a skinsuit to peddle shallower garbage. Crack Up and Shore are impossible heights for almost anyone else in the indie folk genre. I hail Robin.
