Getting ready to listen to 繁華街 by Autumn and I'm pretty hesitant, I know the whole "Nobody has time for that long of an album" but long albums piss me off so much sometimes. I hate spending 12 hours on an album like the 24 hour skull song just to realize it's extremely boring but some albums like Sunflower Image are so good. I'm torn.
Longform music is the best music because it doesn't adhere to temporal constraints and is thus allowed to exist entirely outside the bounds of structure. That being said, listening to the stuff out of obligation is stupid. Might as well invest that time into making your own drones and scapes based on what you like.
if you don't have time to listen to it then don't. you don't need to hear everything.
