Is it just me or has it become easier for labels to astrosurf industry plants in recent years?
I remember years ago there was a resistance whenever a new artist became "viral" or sites like the defunct tinymixtapes or pitchfork pushed X "indie" artist or band as the new big thing.
But when this happens nowadays, people just accept it as a fact and any criticism is meet with hostility.
