If you spend $400 on an iPhone you get a very capable machine with 128GB of storage space, 4GB ram, a processor that rivals some laptops, a nice screen and a nice camera. If you spend the same amount on a sampler, you get a 64MB piece of shit with no display and the computational power of a Texas Instruments calculator from 1996. Why are music tech companies so greedy?
thanks for the advice, i'll definitely think about it the next time i have to decide between getting an iphone and a sampler
Economy of scale and priority of hardware costsIphones have no physical buttons ie worse
>>129296708you should get powerful enough Laptop and then pirate music editor programs and just use synth emulators. FOR FREE.And a midi keyboard with 88 keys.Anyone can get into music production. Not everyone can be good however.
>>129296708>Why are music tech companies so greedy?because audiophiles are retarded as fuck and will spend hundreds or thousands just to make it sound a little better
>>129296708you forgot to include the value of all of your personal information in the iphone price
>>129296730>synth emulatorsonce you try a real analog synth you'll never go back. it's like a cheat code
