When did rock music become a white thing? Or if it ever did? It still incorporates rhythm sections and lyrics owed to rhythm & blues. But is there a way it out-developed its origins? Is something like prog more white? Is Radiohead more white? I feel like anything noise rock-related is definitely a black thing. Punk especially. Niggerish. And I guess the more fundamental question is when are white people going to make their own genre instead of some niggrified pastiche?
