Proper rock albums that held up and merit a listen in your opinion. Rock only, if they overlap with metal cool but mostly rock albums.

As long as you personally believe it is a proper rock album that held up and merits at least a single listen then yeah.

Virgin steele is usually heavy metal, but this is an unusual album for them. Mostly rock.

Not sure if i listened to both of these in full, but they have classic songs.
GnR has paradise city, mr brownstone, welcome to the jungle, etc
The who has stuff like "the bargain" and "behind blue eyes".

My personal favorite of theres though the beauty of Led Zeppelin is I feel you can pick several different albums of theirs and have a total iconic album.
>1 has Good Times Bad Times, Dazed and Confused, and How Many More Times
This album changed the music world the moment the first song kicked off making bands like the Beatles sound dated childs music, blues was forever changed
>2 Lemon Song, Bring it on Home, and all the rockers
This one is back to front songs that al could be radio hits almsot and the whole thing is incredibly cohesive compared to the previous
>4 When the Levee Breaks, Going to California, and Stairway
The closer is one of their best epics and the album in general is strong and diverse, Rock and Roll not a personal fave is one of the most memorable songs of all time
>Houses of the Holy No Quarter, Rain Song, The Ocean
The closer is one of my favorite of their straight rock songs, rain song is a master ballad, and everyone loves No Quarter, showcases John Paul Jones as the diverse genius
>Physical Graffiti Sick Again, In My Time of Dying, Ten Years Gone plenty more
rare double album with very few filler tracks, love the sexy closer, love IMToD which is like their final boss blues rocker, and Ten Years Gone is hands down one of the best guitar layered songs of all time
>Presence
All around great guitar all over this

any of those are great pics and I ike the other albums too (besides Coda), Presence I almost left off but I love Nobody's Fault But Mine, For Your Life, and Achilles Last Stand too much to ignore it

An 80's hard rock band that started in the 90's instead, hooks for days

Any form of rock will do, doesn't necessarily mean hard rock.
