This album definitely suffers from being stuck between a modernist ambition/grandiosity and a postmodern camp/populism making the whole thing really embarassing/egregious in how its presented even though a lot of the music is very thoughtfulI do think getting mad about a band called "friends" having friends posting about it reads a little maldingI find the engagement with rym in the tracklist and aesthetics of the album really eyeroll worthy but i wouldnt say this is that instagram post telling girls how to get justin bieber Yummy to #1
