I'm convinced that the raspy old fuck voice was a put on -for a while at least, it must be pretty well shot by now-...
I got to see him live in two thousand whatever and for a while there he sorta slipped out of it and he sounded like "Dylan" again...
It was pretty wild...
I always wondered if he did that on purpose to sorta clue you in on the joke?
