he would've made metallica so much worse if he stayed. they never would've been big. they would've been at the megadeth level and there would be no metallica as we know it and no metal band at that major level. would've hurt the whole genre as a whole. metallica and all of metal dodged a bullet. no to mention the whole band likely would've imploded soon if they stayed together much longer
