Fucking love this album. While not explicitly stated by the band (as far as I know), the album is clearly about a man dealing with the grief of losing his wife, but needing to stay strong for his daughter. It has a plenty of hard and heavy tracks (Promise Part 2, Unturning, Keeping Stone: Sound On Fire) but also several gentle and uplifting ones (Known, Little Burden, Eyes For Change), which I think mirror journey from anger to grief to acceptance quite well.I really appreciate the effort that went into creating the cohesion of the album.I've only just started exploring prog (and prog-adjacent stuff) as a genre, but I've come across some real gems (I'm guessing to more experienced listeners they're just babbie's first prog bands) such as Children of Nova, Fair to Midland, Koln, Rishloo, and Karnivool.
