This album is FAR from the greatest example of jazz, but it's not a bad album and it's ridiculous that something needs to be derided to this extent when it's honestly a fine album. Things don't need to be groundbreaking to be enjoyable, that's an insane standard to hold anything to and it's going to make most experiences in life unenjoyable.
