When you guys go to a concert how do you act. Does it depend on the genre of band or do you do the same regardless. I've not been to too many concerts but I recently saw Opeth with Katatonia, I was fairly close to the front and for Katatonia everything was pure vibes, mostly standing and headbanging a little but when Opeth started the crowd got a little too rowdy and I was getting pushed shoved from behind by people trying to semi mosh and there were also crowd-surfers. Personally I felt that was a complete mismatch to the actual band. I can understand if it was some hardcore punk band but not prog metal. I've seen other prog bands and none of the crowds have behaved the way the Opeth crowd did. I imagine it's partly because it's a much more popular group so more likely to attract trouble makers.
