I think Abbey Road is good but I really don't see the big deal. Faggots jerk themselves off for liking Maxwell's Silver Hammer, and I like some of McCartney's granny music but that one he seemed to take it too far with the campiness, him giggling in the middle of the song solidifies that for me. Oh Darling is 50s doo wop inspired slop that also sounds like he was phoning it in. Then you have the Medley which Paul nails but you get bottom of the barrel John song snippets which aren't that good, it was cheeky to pile throwaway songs for half the album and call it a "medley". Idk it's like a 7/10 at best, which is pretty much all their late stuffSay what you want about the Beatles but they did make a genuine effort to work on the actual craft of the music itself. They go from club players to boy band to mature band to solo projects. They simply put in the work and develop new styling every so often. Exceedingly few bands and solo artists bother with all that and it shows. There is simply nobody quite like them. Not even close. You also have three major talents in one group, McCartney, Lennon and Harrison.
