How am I supposed to make sense of very fast notes played melodically? Is it about the contour they create or am I supposed to hear each one individually?

They usually come from a normal, slow melody, but instead of just playing the notes of that melody, you play something that, for example ends with the target note.

play them slower duh. retard... you can litrally fgure out anything if its note by note unless you are terminally retarded.

If you got the right tunning you can figure out ANYYHING that goes note by note.

Chords is the hard part unless you are mega familiar with all the shapes.
