I LIKE gay 80s synthpop. I feel like most music of the 2020s has been either overly energetic music for coked up, energy-drink-addicted zoomers to bounce off the walls to, or miserable doomercore that's so laid back it's horizontal. Nation Of Language consistently hits the sweet spot in between.

But tbqh I'm mostly just doing the thing where I post an objectively wrong opinion and people correct me with a bunch of great recs.
