November 8th, 2016 was a dark day. An unthinkable day.

It was with heavy hearts that we all woke up on November 9th, only to be greeted with the news that Leonard Cohen was dead, (although he had actually passed a few days prior.)

It seemed to be the week that hope died.

In commemoration of these deaths, big and small, we made this shirt.

And then, Robert Christgau, senior editor and long time music critic, was captured wearing it, thus immortalizing it in the last ever print edition of the Village Voice.

What does this mean and who is Leonard Cohen? Is this a metaphor?

lol
I'm glad this is Christgau's picture in the last print VV issue, it encapsulates the absurd thinking of the average media journalist, and of Rob himself.
