In my experience it seems Martin has by far the best sounding guitars out there.

Gibson models like SJ200 and Hummingbird look really gorgeous I wish they sounded as good.

If it's not made by a single luthier I wouldn't even bother. James Olson and Wayne Henderson have been the best steel strings I've tried.

Steel string acoustics are not supposed to be fancy cork sniffing instruments that are kept in cases, humidified and cared for gayly. Get the most expensive Yamaha that fits in your budget and use the money you saved to get marijuana and alcohol.

Fell in love with a Martin but wanted something that wasn't precious, played a ton of brands at diverse price points, closest sound I found was Fender
