different anon here but I got stuck in a time loop once. I was a young degenerate in college and smoked cigs at the time so when I was offered a blunt I hit it hard. I lost touch with reality to the point that it seemed that everything I did, everything anyone said, anything I said, etc. all seemed to repeat itself over and over. It did not feel so much that I was stuck inside my own mind or was not on board with Reality so much as that reality kept repeating itself in an infinite echo. Every thought, every thought process, every movement. Over and over in perfect replication with no deviation.

If you buy a solderless kit, you will need to desolder the old pots and install and solder the new ones. If you buy good pickups and pots once, you'll have to do the same thing but now you're done with it. Choice is clear imo.

>when you're such a dipshit that even the shitposting retard calls you out
>>
>>129761546
You will have connection problems down the line doing this.
Buy some spade connectors and a crimp. They are often used in cars and arcade cabinets. Can then just snip the wires, strip them, add insulators (will usually come with connectors) and just plug them together. If you replace pots you may still have to solder a ground, no way around that.
>>

if you did, you would be adding to the conversation. stick to shitposting, I need someone to feel better than and you never disappoint, looshharvester

>when you're such a dipshit that even the shitposting retard calls you out
you mean yourself, samefag?
>>
>>129761949
nah i figured out a better solution after doing a bit more research because i could have sworn they sold something that was a little more sturdy than a fucking solder crimp or something else:

https://www.homedepot.com/p/WAGO-221-2401-Lever-Nuts-Inline-2-Wire-Splicing-Connectors-10-Pack-02212401K000004/326254030

so basically, take some of these, take about 2-3 inches of the current pickup wire you have there, snap, and strip right there, then just lock it in place here on the pot and switch ends. then you can just swap any pup in and out with the flip of a latch. no connection issues there.

may end up doing that on my tele because fuck spending 100 dollars on some bullshit i can do for 10.

I bought ten cheap pedals and only kept two - an EQ and a shit looper.

The EQ is the most versatile and worked for bass, too. It’s really good to add bass + volume when working with amp distortion for a boost. EQ combined with 5-way pickup selection is god-tier possibilities.

Yeah, sorry for the odd time. The original is just tapped acoustic guitar but it the descending half throws off a definitive downbeat. The tapping/pedal point is a good compliment to this -> 6/10

The modal interchange is fun, but I’ll try some other ideas for shredability by your request

Did you know that the tremolo arm was invented by none other than Tre Molo, a philipino man working in the Fender factory at the time Leo Fender threatened his family and stole his invention forcing the man to die penniless working for Leo. Leo also had sex with Tre's wife.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah I'm wracking my caveman brain on how to connect the changes. Stuff like Jeff Beck's Diamond Dust and even some changes on his take of Cause We've Ended as Lovers has some melodic minor/altered (but mostly when played on by other younger cats that have some jazz chops); general song writing by Nick Johnston who likes his min maj 7/melodic minor stuff a lot. I want to get better in playing changes in general, and I want some action on those "dramatic" changes.

Honestly, I did the chords first, but the bass tied it together. I think I accidentally did some of the chords from “I Feel like Making Love”. The Velly Joonis version is better than the Roberta Flack:

What do you mean by this? pastad from wiki:
For example, a C major chord (C) in second inversion is written C/G or C/G bass, which reads "C slash G", "C over G" or "C over a G bass".

So in this example, with no chords before or after, just a static chord jam I should focus on C major and have the G (fifth) as an avoid note?

>>129763249
Ok that was quite different from the way I was seeing/hearing it on the fretboard. I'll try these out later thanks. Neat song, though I can barely hear any similarities. It might make sense when I delve into it later.

A decked trem guitar is essentially a hardtail, you might lose like a second of sustain that's all
>>
>>129763047
I think one could block most trems off inside the back cavity with shims.

The problem with a trem is every string pulls all the other strings out of tune. The entire trem floats between the strings and the springs. Then when you use it too aggressively, you'll have to retune in a lot of cases.
>>
>>129763625
and if you break a string you are totally fucked, although realistically you'll replace a string before it gets so old its likely to break

Each form is a different way of playing the same notes. You use each form in different places on the fretboard depending on what chord you're playing.
That looks like the sheet in Scotty's book. Have you been watching the absolutely understand guitar series? Because he goes in order so by the time you get to this lesson you should understand about the notes on the fretboard.
If not I recommend watching the series. The forms are what's often called the CAGED system.
As someone who could play open chords but didn't know why they were that shape or what the rest of the fretboard was for, the video below is what made me realise learning theory instead of just copying shit would actually be rewarding

A good EQ can totally do it but scale length, pickup position and field shape can’t be EQ faked (because they’re harmonic content) and that’s what most people associate with humbuckers/les pauls and strats/teles,

You could go from hot PAF to P90 gibson and vice versa or sexhaver strat to superstrat with EQ and overall boosting/cutting, but you cant fake harmonic content and string tension

Just remember memorable riffs that start with certain notes. For me the low E is the opening for Come As You Are, A is the opening of Cheap Trick’s Stiff Competition, D is the opening of Tom Petty’s American Girl, etc. For each note I’ve got a song or riff my head jumps to where that note is prevalent. From a young age I could easily tell if something was out of tune if it didn’t line up with a song I knew by heart.
