it's a cool album
>>129760685It's easily Dwyer's best record in his entire discog. The krautrock influence really shines
osees are a live band in my humble opinion. there isn't a single song in their discography that is better on record
>>129760718>>129760829The whole band are really talented. To me they stand out musically from a lot of the late 00s early 10s "indie" stuff
>>129760829There's almost no point getting into the albums because I can just throw on any live set and it's always excellent
>>129760616>>129760718I like how its much more "jammy" and loose than their other musichttps://youtu.be/1KZwLvfvQDA?si=374WRJmpFk-00Kii
>>129760616pastiche Fall
>>129766077Homage Fall, actually.
>>129766077>>129766098Sounds nothing like The Fall you fucking retards
How many chances do you give an album/band before you give up on them? What are some hints that something merits a couple more listens instead of disregarding it for ever?
>>129766628The horror of the DPRK is that most of its citizens end up genuinely believing in and be ready to die defending it.
>>129766558get ears faggot
>>129760939I think the studio version of tidal wave is the best
>>129766792says the dumb faggot who thinks everything sounds the same
>>129766628I pretty much never give up on artists especiallly if they have dedicated cult followings, that doesn't mean im constantly trying but ill periodically check back on an artist if for whatever reason they perk my interests. some albums/groups take longer than others and I think it all depends on where youre at in life and where your at in your taste at the moment. Probably my biggest hint on giving albums more tries is if on first impression all the songs "sound the same" to me or if they dont evoke a strong reaction in me one way or the other. It helps if one of the songs stands out that you can get into, usually one by one the rest of the songs on the album will come together
Best entry into this band?
