>>129778104Why do rock uncs try to invalidate things by calling them "fun" - festivals are fun, dance music music is fun.The only criticism i can give this album is that, while doing a better job at recapturing the old 2010 electro house sound a la Digitalism's "I Love You Dude", Boys Noizes "Oi Oi Oi" or Porter Robinsons "Worlds", than others did, it simply sounds too clean and modern. It wants to sound old, but you can immediately tell it's just an imitation. All At Once is the most unique track on the album and by far the best.

I just listened to her(?) top 5 with that Underscores tranny's music still fresh on my mind, and it's actually pretty decent by comparison. Way less sporky for its own sake, ends up being more danceable and listenable at the same time. This seems like an electronic zoomer scene that continues a millenial sound (Savant, Shemusic) and the better stuff is likely not on anyone's radar (yet).

The original sound was about fun, the imitation is just a vibe and aesthetic.
