What's with the sudden popularity of the Blues Driver? It's easily the worst BOSS dirt pedal.

Midhumpslop is played out.

I didn't know it was popular. I won't follow this trend.
I don't care about overdrive pedals in general desu. I like high gain amps (even just for playing lower crunch settings), and it seems kind of redundant. I suppose they worked better with older Marshall amps.

the blues driver isn't a midhumpslop pedal.

for me, it's the Digitech Screamin' Blues, which is a blues driver with bass/treb control.

He's explaining the Driver's popularity by hinting at the fact that it's scoopslop instead.

its not scooped or midboosted it's flat
"transparent" boosts have been popular for the last like 10 years nothing is new
>>
I like the bluss driver as a loud boost
